Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the detection data seem to be inaccurate when the product was first received?
When the ambient temperature changes drastically (for example, after being delivered by a courier from outdoors to your home), the Qingping CO₂ & Temp & RH Monitor needs some time to adjust to the indoor temperature. Before checking the reading, please let it stand for 20 minutes or more. When holding the product, body heat and sweat can affect the measurement results. Avoid blocking the sensor vents with your hand. Additionally, during and within 30 minutes after charging, the product's temperature may rise, which can slightly reduce the accuracy of temperature and humidity readings.
How to check the signal strength or connection state?
When the Qingping CO₂ & Temp & RH Monitor is not displaying the network signal strength, you can press the button on the top of the device to manually trigger the connection. During the connecting process, the network signal icon will blink. Once connected successfully, the signal icon will remain stable for 10 seconds. If the connection fails, the signal icon will blink for a while and then disappear.
Is it always connected to the internet?
No. To save battery power, the Qingping CO₂ & Temp & RH Monitor connects to the internet periodically. By default, it reports data once an hour, but you can configure the reporting frequency, data recording intervals, over-limit notifications via the Qingping IoT app or website. (When using USB power, the product will connect to Wi-Fi continuously.)
